Bush speaks to his base, so they believe he won. The same can be said for Kerry supporters, except Kerry makes an attempt to speak to a larger audience than Bush. The first debate was an exception because it was very onesided.

The polls, after a few days, showed that Kerry won the 2nd debate. The instant polls (focus groups) are showing it is now a sweep for Kerry. We will not know for sure on the third debate for several days.

It is already 2-0 for Kerry and a probable sweep: 3-0.

The brooms are out.
