With his kinda money, he should have a rack full of English Double Rifles, and custom-shop firearms of every description--If he were a real gun-owner/hunter/2nd Amendment Supporter, which he isn't. The Chinese SKS is probably the cheesiest firearm that a person could have. Given the choice, I would pick neither the AK-47 nor the SKS, but a .22 Winchester from a burnt out shooting gallery. If the choice were between the AK or the SKS, I'd take the AK-47. I do have an assault rifle--a Mauser 98 bolt action 8 mm. It is not very useful. I haven't decided to convert it to a sporter yet.
