Sixteen-year-old Lorenzo Hunter of Cleveland was fatally shot in April when he and two high school football teammates, Raymond Williams and Jon Huddleston, allegedly tried to rob a man. The alleged robbers had fake guns, but the would-be victim, armed with a real gun, shot and killed Hunter. Now Williams and Huddleston are charged with murder for having set in motion the events that led to Hunter's death. Obviously a misprint. In today's world of what passes for justice in the U.S., it must be the potential victim that killed Hunter who would be tried for murder. After all, the guy was unarmed, wasn't he? Fake gun, right? Can't be self-defense, right? Must be murder. Williams and Huddleston are innocent bystanders who tried to prevent this murder that resulted from nothing but a harmless prank.
