There is a natural inclination to rally round the president during wartime. However, I don't think it's going to work this time... people are gradually waking up to the fact that Bush really screwed up big time here, from attacking a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and terrorism to screwing up the occupation.

47 million people are wondering why they should be afraid of a terror attack when they have a far greater risk of dying early because they can't afford health care...

I cannot believe that so many people are sold on Bush's war on terror. Everyday I come into contact with people from all walks of life: highly educated people to janitors. About 90% are for Bush. They cited security of the country as the issue. Nothing else matters.
