I can't imagine telling my kids "integrity, integrity, integrity" on my death bed. They already have integrity!

The last advice Kerry received from his mom never took.

<"I can't imagine telling my kids "integrity, integrity, integrity" on my death bed. They already have integrity!"> Thats the difference- you know your kids already have integrity. Kerrys mother knew he kid had/has none. Sadly, her last words were lost.

Unless you die awfully young, don't you think it's a little
late to begin teaching character traits in your children on
your death bed?

"I can't imagine telling my kids "integrity, integrity, integrity" on my death bed."

I don't remember the exact last words my mother said before she went into a coma, buth I think they were, "Make sure the silver is polished before the funeral."

I am a notoriously poor housekeeper, and needed the reminder.
I guess Kerry's mom thought he needed one, too.

I think you could imagine it if your son were JFK. There is a reason some animals eat their young.

She must have been worried

My thought exactly. You don't mention it unless you're worried about it. That was my reaction when Kerry used the line at the convention too.

I wonder how many people will react as we have? Then I wonder why Kerry is still using the line.
