The FDA trial on the mist didn't include the under 5 or over 50 which is why it can't be marketed to them. I thought there was plenty of flu vacine for children under 4

ot
i read that has changed... guidelines are out the window for mist. Also read that half a dose of flu shot may be enough for resistance.

so much written.. will see dr. next Thursday and find out. Wife has been on respirator three times during her life time, and presently on several meds. , steriods to function. will see if flu shot vac. available. In past dr. would give me a flu shot too because of her condition and me being around her all time. i expect i will take mist being over 60 but no major health problems. on the other hand if mist is really not for over 50.. i will go without.

Guidelines for FluMist say you have to be over 5 or under 50 and not have any chronic ailments, or sick in any way.

That is the population that won't be able to get it any other way.
Anyone have stock symbols...? LOL.
