Exactly. Once, at the end of my sophomore year, I was asked to do a handful of walk- ons for a production of King Lear, after I finished a play I had a lead in (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead, the Chief Player). It was a community theater project mostly run by people from St. John's. I agreed, and did a few things, like played a couple of messengers and other tiny things. But it was a situation of having someone mismatched for the roles he was playing (I had a lot of experience playing leads), so I got a wierd number of compliments, after shows, for these nothing parts, having imparted a certain vividness to them.
