Why do all your posts come off like you are smirking as you type them? Haqi, I don't know. I'm certainly not smirking. I'm probing for insights. I expect it's partly the distrust and wariness of some readers to anyone who causes cognitive dissonance, partly most people's lack of exposure to the casual disections of behaviors and mores and values and the like, and partly the medium, which doesn't enable non-verbal cues. It may also be partly my conveyance of frustration when I can't get analytical engagement, which means walking away without the insights I had hoped to glean. Or perhaps annoyance at my disrupting the thread clubhouse rhythm with analytical activities.
