I thought Kerry won the health care topic hands down. But if he wins the election, I don't see how he will pull it off.

IMO both candidates failed to make a significant impact on the audience. People respond to charismatic leaders that make them feel personally involved and empowered via the leadership. These two blow hards talked only about how they would change the world ... as if either of them will be able to do anything without support from us. They talked about how they would reduce the partisan devisiveness in congress... I don't see either of them as the man who could do it.

It's the Repugnicans who want to keep Mary Cheney in the closet - a Dem would be PROUD of a gay daughter. That's what they want to hilight. The Repugnicans equate gayness with
