I'm not SNDK "expert" though I follow Micron and other chipmakers but primarily I'm into equipoment.
I try to figure out whether IC sales and Capex are "out of line".
This chart is published by gottfried and gives you some idea about supply and demand (Wennerstrom board or AMAT board).
at this point it looks as overall chipmakers are throttling back in regards to expenditure but at the same IC sales are not really tanking;

Flash though might be the worst case scenario (worst segment within IC's) for overcapacity but on the other hand growthrates are high and new application emerge as cost per bit goes down
