Hmmm... Good counterpoints. I haven't seen anything specific on iMac G5 orders. It seems to me that the company statement was more about the positive reviews than concrete numbers. I tend to think that the Apple faithful are getting slower to do their hardware refreshes thereby offsetting the surge in new users. It's kind of a thin line. If the computer is great, there's no need to upgrade for some time, yet it takes a great computer to attract new purchasers in the current environment. HerbVic
