Hi EP, My understanding is that Ghadaffi survived an assassination attempt by Al Qaeda so he suddenly saw the light, not because his import of weapons was prevented. The power to change the policy toward Israel has been in every president's hand since the UN sanctioned the UK's handover of a part of Palestine to the Zionists. There has been no change. The policy remains one of absolute support. I'm assuming that policy continues forever. When I see somebody act in a crazy manner, repeatedly, year after year, I decide that they are a mental case and no longer expect rational behaviour. I don't understand the situation of course. I start with the sure knowledge that most of the US superrich are not Jewish and even the very rich among the Jews in the US are divided; Soros is most strongly opposed to Bush. So for Jewish money as the main explanation maybe we should substitute oil money. ??? mb
