red, Stevie Wonder has a story like that, too. At the Blind School he attended, one of the other students was a super racist and an all-around bigot, spewing hate for blacks, latinos, asians, arabs, jews, catholics, women and pretty much everyone who wasn't pasty white, male and protestant of the holy roller variety. And somehow he hit on Stevie as a fellow traveler. One day he was telling Stevie how they should ship blacks back to Africa when he reached out and touched his head.
