O'Reilly is a news guy. If he harrassed the employee, I hope she wins her case; if it is really just about her trying to extort money then I hope he rises above it.

In any event and regardless of my opinion of the issue, O'Reilly is not a public official. He is not elected or appointed and does not represent me in anyway. We have no issue of trust that would be considered a social contract implicit in his job continuance... other than me flipping the channel when I feel like it. Otherwise it is entirely an issue for the courts to resolve and I don't care any more about his problem than I do the man down the street.
