Debate #1 in no way can be considered a bush victory. Polls plummetted right after from plus 6-10 points down to ties or small leads for either. I think bush did well in 2 and great last night. I am not sure that folks really see those two as you do but i will hope you are right. As for debate 1 as john kerry would say that tony soprano would say fuggettaboutit

HUH? In the first debate in particular, the overall impression was: "How did this clown become President of the United States?" It was not just that he had nothing to say, or that what he said was said so poorly -- it was that he seemed to have the maturity of a frat boy who had just learned that he was not going to get a passing grade just because his father had made a donation to the university capital fund.
