If the lawsuits are, in reality, baseless then they will be thrown out. Why make them ILLEGAL then? Why use the power of the government to putz with the 'free market system'?

I have always wondered why the anti-gun folk talk about deer hunting when refering to the second amendment. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." More importantly, I have never heard a gun ownership proponent challenge people when they say stuff like, 'That weapon wasn't designed for hunting deer.' No duh... We have the right to bear arms for self-defense and defense of the state.
