Again. These people are not United States citizens and are not entitled to any such presumption.


Under the Geneva Conventions, Article 82, "these people" are subject to the same laws as Us. And ole Rummie has said repeatedly that the Geneva Conventions are in place at Gitmo.

We're at war. These people are suspected of being the enemy. There is no presumption of innocence, nor should there be.

But some of them are innocent and still you don't care. What does move you?

Don't bring up the Bush rhetoric. The Afghan war ended years ago.

If you believe every Gitmo detainee is a "terrorist", please let me know how this was determined by whoever made the distinction between Afghan terrorist, Afghan nationalist, Afghan farmer and non-Afghan hanging out in Afghanistan?
