Excessive manipulation of the oil markets? Prove it.

Alan Greenspan says that higher oil prices are not a real concern for the economy. He doesn't talk of manipulation.

Ford and GM aren't concerned, apparently haven't been for years, as they've been pumping out ever larger engines in vehicles which largely see nothing but simple city and commuting traffic. Legions of consumers bought these.

Supply and demand. Markets should rule all, so whatever is happening is a good thing, no? Or is that only a good thing until it bites us?

Or is it just possible that we've been living in a bit of a dream world for just a little too long...

Its silly to believe that a disproportionate level of consumption should be our God given right. Guess what, the rest of the world wants the good life too.
