LIAR. JK never hurt a single POW. On the contrary, he helped bring them home earlier then later with McCain spent years working on resolving the painful POW-MIA issues. He's been to every one of those POW camps and feels very-very deeply for the guys who were stuck there. He and McCain wept together at McCain's old cell. This is one reason McCain defends Kery from dastardly smear campaigns. The other reason is McCain was Bush's victim in 2000 of a similar dishonest smear campaign.
