I don't disagree with anything you are saying in this particular post.<g>

I would love to see your policy how to convince people to stop driving their cars everywhere you go. I doubt that the increase in the tight supply of oil will diminish the demand for people to drive their kids in their SUV's to school.

I would seriously suggest an increase in the driving age from 16 to 18. Drivers should be in the age of the majority. It would also keep alot of kids out of trouble until they are out of high school.

Finally, I fail to see how my suggestion that Islamic Opec powers may be using terrorism as a way of leveraging their economic gains in the oil market to be a blessing of our foreign policy. I am against their state sponsored policy of terrorism. I think we must vigorously defend ourselves and take the appropriate steps to make sure that this economic sabotage does not inhibit free market trade in this area. I think our primary policy of defense is to pre-empt more terrorism. I think our secondard policy of defense is to secure open markets for energy.

Since SA opposed the war and refused to allow any support activities for it take place on their soil, how do you figure it appeased SA?

a war that...was designed to fill American gas tanks and appease the country from which most 9/11 attackers called home.
