John Kerry left his men in Viet-Nam after only 4 months on a 12 month combat tour to return to a plum assignment in the United States. He got credit for a full combat tour. His crew which he left had to complete their normal combat tour. I have been unable to identify any other Viet-Nam veterans who boogied out after 4 months..... remember 2,500,000 veterans served in Viet-Nam for the normal combat tour.... exceptions medevacs & kias. John Kerry is without honor.
