I'm not aware of any Bush comment on Thursday... I think that's just a bogus anti Bush comment in print, or it would have been included in that article... if he did make some inappropriate comment, we would have heard about it by now, so I doubt he did...

Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, was harsher, suggesting that while Mrs. Cheney has been "a wonderful advocate" for her daughter, she also might be ashamed of her.

"She's overreacted to this and treated it as if it's shameful to have this discussion. I think that's a very sad state of affairs," she told ABC radio.


I have to agree with Mrs. Edwards. When the subject of obesity, which is becoming very popular, comes up I am sure referring to Mrs. Edwards choice to become a fat slob will certainly be acceptable.
