Brian, to encourage more memory chip use more people should begin to edit home movies on their PCs. Yesterday I imported a DV home movie and it used nearly 100% of my 512MB of RAM. The DV camera was connected via firewire and the processor is a 2.8GHz Celeron. I checked www.crucial.com and they charge over $90 for an additional 512MB. This price has been going up.
