You feel like you could go have a beer with the guy. And I'd buy. Here is a bit of military news from this morning. These things are important to Vets. Every SFer knows where Reilly and Grubar Roads are located. In fact they know every crack in both streets from running them so often. They are in the middle of Smoke Bomb Hill, the home of SFHQ and the SF training areas for 52 years. A Dedication Ceremony will be held on November 5th at 0845 hours on Ft. Bragg, NC in honor of Col. Floyd Thompson, longest held POW in Vietnam (9+ years) to rename a street in his memory. The street to be named is located off Son Tay Road which is off Reilly Road going away from Gruber Road. All SF (active and retired) are cordially invited to particpate in this ceremony to honor one of our own.
