POA Final Poll: Bush 49%, Gore 40%

The final Portrait of America poll shows George W. Bush leading Al Gore by nine points, 49 percent to 40 percent.
The Rasmussen Research telephone survey of 3,750 likely voters was conducted for POA on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Results were released today.

The Green Party's Ralph Nader had 4 percent, the Reform Party's Pat Buchanan 1 percent, the Libertarian Party's Harry Browne 0.8 percent and other candidates at 0.1 percent or less. Undecided voters declined to 5.1 percent.

In the Electoral College, Bush led 224 to 168, with 146 electoral votes too close to call.
