raising margin requirements? where did you hear about this? it does not surprise me in the least. actually i think Matt Simmons was proposing 50% or 100% margin requirement for CL a year ago. but what good will that do? the COTs do not show a huge net-long position for specs. that is one reason i haven't gotten clazy wid margarine on CL positions.

interesting they rise margin requirements for oil but never done that in the DOT.COM bubble under Clinton / AG for bubble stocks
