Stockman: Mr. Bush has not been effective with managing the nation's finances.

Ann: C-span this AM had long discussion re both Bush/Kerry plans to cut the deficit in half, and concluded that neither man could accomplish that task within 4yrs. They pointed out that Kerry plans to add additional trillions to the debt.

Stockman: U.S. has lost much of its credibility around the world under Bush.

Ann: The hallmark of a strong leader is to stay focused on taking action in the best interest of your countrymen. Bush does not cave into pressure from foreign countries like France/Germany/Russia who pocketed multi-millions of bribery money from Saddam Hussein. That's the reason they protested his ouster. They didn't want their thievery from the Iraqi Oil for Food program to end. Do we really want that sort of ally? UK is with us and has the integrity worthy of an American ally. Many other countries are helping as well in Iraq and Afghan'stn.

Stockman: ABC's Nightline report clearly pointed out several mis-statements and outright lies in O'Neill's version of "the truth". O'Neill's defense on camera was also pathetic.

Ann: Actually, O'Neill pointed out to the Nightline host that their report was completely inaccurate and didn't even agree with Kerry's own biography "Tour of Duty." Ted Koppel & crew naively swallowed the whole ball of wax from a Communist country, rather than use John Kerry's Boston Globe biography, Tour of Duty OR John O'Neill's "Unfit for Command" facts.
O'Neill was flabbergasted that an American would use the testimony of Communists rather than an American source including John Kerry. Last night's Nightline report was completely bogus because it used suspect sources. You're gullible to believe a word of it.

Liberals look even more foolish than usual when they mention John McCain and believe they're scoring points. Sen McCain just yesterday travelled with Pres Bush, and while doing so made clear & firm statements that he believes Pres Bush's reelection is the wisest course for Americans to pursue on Nov 2.
