In the final 18 days, polls no longer matter. If there is an event / October surprise, that might impact the results. Otherwise this isn't about the 'undecideds', it is about turnout. It is about which candidate will get their supporters to the polls.

In most elections, Republicans (like me) vote in large numbers. The Democrats and Independents are typically not as passionate about voting. I think this election will be an exception.

If every registered person votes, instead of the usually 60%, Kerry would win easily. Kerry's success depends on the 'get the vote out' effort.

I think people are passionate and we will see a record turnout ... and a Kerry victory.
