In this case it was an orthropedic bed, a hospital type bed but with the triangle thing hanging from a chain over the head area to help with pulling up. Since she's alive I'd say she spent time in a hospital bed at home. Now if she had expired at home in that bed, hospital wouldn't be part of anything she said.

Wasn't Kerry's mother a nurse? Maybe she was a teacher? It was posted here once upon a time, but I have forgotten.

A person growing up with a nurse for a mother would call them "hospital beds."

My dad died at home in a hospital bed that was provided by Medicare.
