Neo you are one of those on the right for whom I have great respect. Josh is another. But these were not misstatements. The bush comment at the time got a lot of press. Cheney sat next to Edwards for 2 hours at a prayer breakfast. Unless both are senile they flat out lied. In and of itself not so bad but it sure hurts their credibility when they blame poor intelligence for the Iraq problems, or when they ignore the advice of most mainstream economists when they forge economic policy or when they claim the economy is doing great in spite of an obvious slowdown that is happening.
