Military people are mixed. On CNN they showed that nobody on the base they visited had the courage to admit they backed Kerry on-camera. They felt they might be ostrasized by the rightwing lifers. It's kind of scary. Reminds me of Hitler and the storm troopers. A lot of good smart people in the military but they feel under pressure to back the rightwing extremists, even if they lie, cheat and get us into quagmire wars without a plan.
