Old Dash took advantage of a tax thing on his house in DC. That required him to be a resident of DC. No longer able to run in SD as he is not a res-- but on the downside of polls too.

It is close. That is shocking considering that he has been in for 24 years, and that the editor of the only major paper in the state supports him. The newspaper covers for his liberal departures from the conservative values of SD. Right now the big argument for keeping him is that he brings home the pork.
