The hope is to get them the best and safest equipment. It doesn't seem to be happening, but if there is a public uproar about it, perhaps it will happen.

Election time is the best time to make a point if you are a little guy and these soldiers are little guys.

I have heard stories that various colonels in Iraq go out and buy desks to their liking and make sure they are better than other colonel's desks................why not get better equipment for their men who are in harm's way?
