Here's one set of polls which really mean something.
realclearpolitics.com

54% believe Bush has us on the wrong track, which means they dont trust his lies and the dishonest smear campaigns wont make any difference.

No big deal!

The turnout was probably affected by the time of day and venue. Phoenix is a bigger place than Tempe, right? Therefore there are lots more folks in Phoenix! Also, the baseball stadium is where lots of folks like to go to anyway.
Maybe they had a "double-header" there that day: after the rally there was a baseball game. Not?

Seems you are grasping at straws, Ann!

McCain looked very uncomfortable with Bush, as if Bush were physically draging him into that appearance. He definitely wanted to get out of there ASAP and didn't smile the whole time. McCain may be regreting endorsing Bush. I'm sure he is very torn about it. Bush stinks and McCain knows it.
