Interesting analysis of last night's inept Ted Koppel report from a local message board: <<<ABC Koppel's Objective - Sinclair Broadcast of "Stolen Honor" Author: ABC Watchdog - 10/15/2004 Something for the voters to think about, although it is clear that Koppel’s report is an attempt to “inoculate Kerry against the Sinclair broadcast of Stolen Honor,” there are two flaws in ABC’s objective. 1) They really know only the premise of the Sinclair documentary. They have not seen it and therefore are shooting into the dark to defend themselves against it… and 2) that Sinclair’s evidence against Kerry will air after their effort to discredit it, Stolen Honor will be “the last word” on the issue… the one echoing in the minds of the voters as they prepare to make their decision. In the two weeks remaining after the airing of Stolen Honor? Well… the Kerry camp will be far too busy putting out the fires and the MSM far too distracted in trying to come up with explanations to really be of any effect anymore. They fear this. This above all strengthens my belief that this film will have a profound if not heart-wrenching impact on those who see it. The democrats believe it too… this is why they petitioned the FCC (stating it would be unconstitutional) to censor it. The MSM believes it will kill Kerry’s chances… this is why they are scrambling to explain ahead of time the answer to the questions that will surely be on the minds of those who see this film.>>>
