The thing is, Bush is going in a good direction. You would have a hard time convincing most Americans that rooting out terrorists is a bad idea.

Maybe Bush has deluded himself into thinking he has been given a mission by God. Maybe he is just trying to do the most that he can to improve security. I would not want to live in the Jerusalem of two years ago.

Clinton was fool for giving Arafat a place on the stage. Arafat is a terrorist. He has been observed giving polite speeches in English, and then turning and delivering a hateful one in his native tongue.

If we succeed over the next two to five years in stabilizing Iraq, the people there will be 10,000% better off than without our assistance. The next goal after that should be to ensure that Iraq has a vibrant economy.

People from all over the world want to come to America. It is a place where hard work can reward an immigrant with fabulous riches. Many come to America just because the working wages are so much better.

A Vibrant Iraq could become a favored destination for Middle Easterners who want to be rewarded based on their effort. Can you imagine the change in the world if we helped Iraq become a place of freedom where middle easterners wanted to emigrate to so they could taste success? It may be the only thing that can beat back the wave of disaffected religious zealots.
