Resuming now. The internment was a preventive measure. It's whole point was to prevent sabotage and espionage. You have kindly confirmed that it worked.

I invited you to concede that the large J/A population on the coast presented a legitimate wartime concern. That would have facilitated discussion of how it should have been dealt with, and whether there were viable alternatives to internment. Viewing the situation through racist-colored glasses prevents you from moving off square one.

Perhaps I need to read Anne Coulter's new book, "How to Talk to a Liberal." If I get sufficient insight from that, maybe we can take this up again.
