Kumar,

The "University of real life" is a wonderful teacher :-)

But the degree is an entrance requirement to most companies - it shows some discipline - the type needed to learn.

Almost all our hires come from co-op programs, not the least our own. I have had a number of great students who have gone on to become very productive employees.

I actually work for the 1st grad student I hired :-)
