Why are Kerry/Edwards spending most of their time in states Gore won?

You don't grow EC vote totals that way.

It seems your unaware of how the elecoral college works. EC votes don't carry over from previous elections.

Ohio is not a state that Gore won is it? It is from Ohio that Kerry/Edwards resumed their campaign after the Republican convention, is it not? I don't see Kerry/Edwards in California or New York. Very rare in Pennsylvania where Bush has visited 30 times in the last 4 months.

This is what it is today at electoral-vote.com

Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 243 Bush 257

Three weeks before for an incumbent who had this coming out of the Republican (again taken from the website above)

Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 174 Bush 326
