One of my points was that it has never been explained (as far as I know) the criterion for which people caught in Afghanistan went to Gitmo, which were imprisoned in Afghan, and which were just released and told to behave.

Before you make the blanket claim that the Gitmo detainees do not deserve due process, don't you want to know how it was determined that they be sent to Gitmo?

I do not WANT to know and I literally DO NOT CARE.

If our military says, "this guy's dangerous, we don't want him running loose", that's good enough for me. If there are some mistakes made, crap happens. If a guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time, it happens.

You really have to get away from letting the ACLU and Amnesty International do your thinking for you.
