Oh John, get a grip! That all makes sense. Where's the lie? <thanks for quotes.. now we get Kerry in another lie.. the guy is sick and needs help, he cannot say a thing without a lie. He must be very insecure person. Then again it may ambition to get ahead at all costs even to hurt his own integrity > He went to see her in hospital and she apparently told him that in hospital. She died later at home, apparently.

Where's the problem? The quote didn't demonstrate any inconsistency, let alone a lie. Where's the lie? We'd need to see the documents or live quotes to ensure there isn't a CBS-style forgery. We know we can't trust Republicans to tell the truth - heck, they even got the dreaded WMDs wrong, despite fantastic "intelligence" and dropped everyone in it.

Just as John Kerry didn't bring Dick's daughter into the political scrum, the Republicans didn't bring John Kerry's dead mother in, so it's fair to comment. But the dead mother isn't standing on the political stage, and can't really be asked to comment, so unless there's another witness, it would be polite to assume what she said is what John says she said. It's probably more tactful to leave the dead alone if you want John Kerry to leave the lesbian alone. We wouldn't want to see more Republican hypocrisy would we?

Where's the substance? Bush has got 1000s of USA soldiers dead and wounded. There are serious matters to be discussed while Republicans are nit-picking.

The guy is sick and needs help? It's funny that people like to say stuff like that as a means of putting people down. Come along now, pick up your standards. There really are people who are sick and need help. They don't look and sound like John Kerry who seems to be doing okay despite a fairly grueling year or two and some high pressure campaigning.
