You know, Jay, I am not sure why you have not found this useful.

On 4/3/04, I posted: "The next few months will be the last great buying opportunity for US equities this decade. I don't expect to convince you, however."

A buying opportunity is a period of flat or declining prices. The Dow was at about 10,400 on 4/3/04 and is at 9,933 now. Is that not a buying opportunity? Ditto for the Nasdaq, ~2000 then and 1,911 now.

I also tried once again to save you from your endless pessimism and catastrophism when I posted on 5/20/04: "Dow and Nasdaq unlikely to go much below 9900 & 1800, imo. This correction has just about run its course."

To which you replied: "... OK, now let us watch and be taught a lesson. But first, consider defining 'much'........IMO, the correction hasn't even gotten started, and barely warmed up."

Now, tell me, has the Dow fallen below 9,900 this summer? The Nasdaq below 1,800? Have they plumbed the depths that you sarcastically implied with your comment "OK, now let us watch and be taught a lesson?" I suggest not.
