Then again if the armed escorts had been pulled and the vehicles had deadline defects there is no way they should have been ordered to go. One truck was said to have a top speed of 40 mph. My friend who was there said 60 mph was considered the minimum out of town.

UW, On public radio, of all places, it was reported that the unit could not perform the duty because their trucks were dead lined for extensive service, and none of the troops refused to do their duty.

Every antiwar media outlet is using this bitching to prove that American morale is cracking in Iraq. Do troops have a right to bitch like that? E.g.
