dave: I see a different view: I'd like to see an environment where the individual is free to take responsibility for his or her own security, and less regulation of the means to do that.

ann: That works fine for citizens who enjoy a survivalist lifestyle, but it's not possible for urban dwellers whose neighbors would not appreciate dobermans & beartraps in the apartment building halls. LOL

dave: Yes, I think the government should keep people from flying planes into buildings and such. I think it should be careful how it goes about that and quit bothering little old ladies at the airport by peering under their wrist watches and going through their handbags. Go after the barbarians.

ann: I agree 100% with that sentiment. Why are little old ladies being searched? answer: Because the "politically correct police" insist there should be NO profiling. It's idiotic. Another case of liberals placing priorities out of order. It should be air travel safety first, ethnic sensitivity training second.

dave: John Kerry is no friend of freedom, because he consistently works against freedoms that are guaranteed (not granted, for they are natural rights) in the Bill of Rights.

ann: Exactly, Kerry & his lemmings uphold all freedom of speech that glorifies him BUT condemn any criticisms of him as "paid political ads."
Kerry's absurd level of hypocrisy has no shame.
