These polls are discouraging. I have certainly done what I could. It's hard to understand how so many people could be so stupid. The country is falling apart and they are falling in line behind Bush.

I just voted yesterday. Got my absentee ballot and sent it off.

Calculated Risk posted polls from 4 years ago October that were slanted more for Bush than today's. And we all know that Gore won the popular vote.

I am firmly convinced that polls are used to create public opinion, not read it.

Bush could well win the popular vote this time and lose the electoral. In some states, like Utah, he'll get 70% of the vote! The people here don't think, and the Mormon Church tells them to vote for Bush. So don't get discouraged.
