i think that confirms my viewpoint!!!

Any picture would have confirmed your view point. Like I said, a woman on the Internet looks exactly like you want her to look.

It's always amazing to me on these boards that people focus on how you say things not what it is that is being said. That and who you are. Why not counter some of my ideas with ideas of your own?

Jill, I don't believe Grace said anything that would deserve an attack on her personal looks.

RE: "lol...edit...i see you posted a picture...i think that confirms my viewpoint!!!"

Actually, I think it confirmed that your description of her was completely in error.

RE: " have been following the back and forth you have on some of the threads with some who get rather frustrated with your viewpoint...guess after a while I found the tone annoying so I said something..."

How you phrased your thoughts here is polite, so I don't think you have to resort to attacking her to make a point. If Grace's tone bothers you, why not PM her privately if you have good intentions. I've done this once about a topic, and had the opportunity to learn that she was actually trying to convey something to me that I value.

Lastly, while you may not value her post on SS, I certainly do:

RE: "It's the state of global finances"

I think Grace's point is you can do reasonably well through prudent financials, even if the world around you isn't always okay. The people that did best in the Great Depression, were the ones that took advantage of downturns.

Regards,
Amy J
