Couldn't figure out how much information is real and how much is hype - definitely some of each. Hard to learn much from the company website (positive-sounding information but it's hard to confirm independently), Yahoo groups (too many inane messages to search for interesting nuggets) or here (almost no messages), so I did some googling. At the NATO meeting this week the IUT/Isonics presentation is a paper by Dr. Dirk Rondeshagen of IUT. There is no mention of IUT/Isonics giving a live demo (several other companies are), but the presentation apparently includes a video demonstration of the NeutroTest prototype. Rondeshagen seems to be a well-respected neutron physicist, receiving his PhD from Munster University (1999?) and spending time at CERN on the CHORUS project. He also gave a CHORUS-related presentation at SLAC back in 1997. All interesting background, and very positive-sounding, but not much help in deciding how to play this stock because, no matter what the real current value of this technology, there is little doubt that the market will drive the stock price way beyond it - or already has. The momentum players and technical traders are going to have a lot of fun with this. Those of us who take a more fundamental approach should probably decide how much we want to sell at what prices and sit back and enjoy the ride. Does anyone here like roller coasters? Disclosure: I sold 20% of my holdings during Friday's after-hours session to reduce my average price. If it goes up more, I'll probably sell some more. If the run is already over, I can buy it back cheaper - and maybe even reduce my average price again.
