Google more to find even routine medical care being postponed for months. Look a little harder and see some die waiting on procedures we take for granted in the US. Canada has problems-- believe it!

I did a bit of googling and found several items that suggest that you can be treated without a health card in hand and nothing that says that you can't.


I am sure the rule book says you can. But you are dealing with getting your healthcare from the Canadian version of the DMV.
