Some unlucky people have to go through and read through all of them and find any references to a particular name. If you like witchhunts, then unless you are a partisan extremist, have consistent policy on both sides --- while asking for clerks to dig for dirt on Bush, do the same for Kerry. As far as I can tell, Bush asked the military to find all these documents and release them as they are found. Kerry didn't. Let me break down both sides of the argument for you so you can understand it. The Kerry supporters wants to know if as the Vietnam war was winding down, Bush as part of the national guard reserves days missed some days when he was to report for medicals or flight duty. The Bush supporters wants to know if Kerry's medals were obtained by 'gaming' the system. Some wonder out loud how it is that Kerry's tour of duty lasted a mere 3 month and change. They also want to know if Kerry by negotiating with the North Vietnamese government in Paris while they were at war with the US technically caused him to get less than an honorable discharge. Further, there is another witchhunt going on to find out why there is assertions that it took until the Carter presidency for Kerry to get his discharge papers --- was it an amnesty that cleared a less than honorable discharge? There is also further mud-slinging witchhunt that Kerry's negotiations with the NV govt during war-time is an act of treason. Frankly, I don't care too much for vietnam days history anymore, other than distaste for Kerry's actual pro NV and anti-war anti-US actions during the nixon days, I am not as interested as others in the other details such as allegations of deliberately self-inflicted wounds or allegations of missing a medical exam. Bush is not perfect, but I must say I vehemently disagree with JK's view on the islamic jihadis as much as I disagree with what he did in the vietnam days.
