I had to reread my post trying to figure out what you were talking about.... You are teaching Satan's will when you say that a Christian cannot work through the political system to prevent the perversion of same sex marriages be allowed. You and I can, as Americans, work through the political system to change our country to suit our likes and dislikes. That's what it means to be American. I am just saying you will get no crown for doing that in heaven because it is not part of "the work" Jesus has set us to. And it is very tempting to still be part of that political battle. These issues can make my blood boil too. But there is no profit in it for the Kingdom of God. It is a subtle yet powerful difference I am talking about. Campaign all you want. Just don't ever say you're doing the Lord's work. And some day you might realize that your zeal has been used by sly politicians who were never Christians and never like us at all, including George Bush. That's all I'm saying.
